I am going into my final year at the American International School of Lusaka this August. I have lived in Zambia my whole life yet I know nothing about the Kafue. I’m scared of all animals and I hope they take you guys first. I always have a camera in my hand so don’t be surprised if I catch you picking your nose!
In all seriousness, I am really looking forward to the opportunity of being involved in such a meaningful and exciting expedition.
During these past few years I have made many videos for my school and have become the ‘Oficial School Videographer’. I have also made videos for the American Embassy, and promotional videos for Little Ndaba and Bluespan. I started off taking photos and videos for the local motocross track and became the oficial photographer for the Zambian National Motocross Team, taking pictures and making videos of the national and international races. Over time I started to move on to other subjects and what I really find fulfilling is being able to make videos that raise awareness for important issues such as Chance4All which gives Zambian children the opportunity to have an education.
What I am excited for:
Like anybody else, I am still learning and growing, and I think that this expedition will be a perfect way for me to grow as a videographer. It is a real privilege to be a part of something that is so unique and has never been attempted before, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know so many accomplished people.
What I am scared of:
LIONS! But mostly breaking a nail. Jokes… I’m not scared of lions.
Fun facts:
I thinks Tom Lungu’s bio is boring
